The company has a long history regarding its establishment .The founder of this company is MR MOHAMED ABDALLAH SAID where as in 1950’s he started the business with a single truck of whom he was the driver himself. As time passed, the vision of establishing a bigger company arise, he was joined by his beloved brothers having similar proposal. Together they formed M.A. SAID & BROTHERS of which he became the Managing Director and his brothers were as follows:

As the business was developing, the brothers decided to split up with their own companies . Then he renamed it as M.A. SAID & CO LTD (MASCO). With the ambition of MR MOHAMED ABDALLAH SAID the company has grown to become one of the most successful and the leading company in Transport Industryin Tanga, Tanzania and East & Central Africa . Then he renamed it as M.A. SAID & CO LTD (MASCO). With the ambition of MR MOHAMED ABDALLAH SAID the company has grown to become one of the most successful and the leading company in Transport Industryin Tanga, Tanzania and East & Central Africa .
After the death of MOHAMED ABDALLAH SAID in 2005 the company was lead by his beloved son’s namely:

4.MSELEM MOHAMED ABDALLAH
The company of M.A. SAID & CO LTD (MASCO) has expanded from a single truck to fleet of 42 operating trucks at the moment. Where by about 60% of the trucks were bought by the founder while 40% were bought by his sons.
